Former basketball star who had son with quarterback Matt Leinart has second child with LA Clippers' Blake Griffin.

Cameron who is originally from Newbury Park, California, was a star basketball player for USC from 2004 to 2008. However, she had to take the 2006-07 season off when she was pregnant with her child fathered by Leinart. She met the future $51 million 2006 draft pick for the Arizona Cardinals as a freshman after he introduced himself in the study hall of USC.

Six years after she caused a stir by having a baby with Heisman Trophy winner Matt Leinart while both were still playing at college, former USC basketball superstar Brynn Cameron is celebrating the birth of her second child, this time with Los Angeles Clippers forward Blake Griffin. Cameron, 27, and Griffin, 24, who rakes in $19 million a year from his NBA franchise, welcomed Ford Wilson Cameron-Griffin into the world on August 1st and both the proud parents, who are reportedly not still together, confirmed the birth today. a bitter custody and support battle between Leinart and Cameron, which ended with the former Buffalo Bills quarterback paying up to $15,000 in monthly child support.

According to an interview she gave to the New York Times, Cameron and Leinart bonded about how they wore the same number jersey for the football and basketball teams respectively.Cameron admitted to be uneasy speaking to Leinart, who had already



been earmarked as a future NFL superstar, but said she was won over by his charm and his sense of humor. The two dated for a year before they split up at the conclusion of Leinart's senior season and soon afterwards she discovered she was pregnant with his child. But following the birth of their child the two parents fell into a public slanging match, in which she implied he was an absentee dad obsessed with his Hollywood friends such as Paris Hilton, while she was used as comedy fodder for her large custody demands.

'I love Cole more than anything or anyone,' the one-time Arizona Cardinals QB said in a statement to People in 2007. 'I also really care about his mother, and would never say anything disparaging about her. I want to help him experience life's lessons that were taught to me by my mom and dad.' At the time, reports from TMZ suggested that Cameron wanted $30,000 a month from Leinart in the aftermath of his $51 million contract from the Cardinals.

The celebrity website added that this angered Leinart as he had already bought her a car and promised to pay $6,000 a month in child support. However, the two worked out their personal and financial differences and their relationship is now amicable and the two are often photographed in public with their son. 'We still fight and disagree on things,' Cameron said to the New York Times. We’re both on the same page now for what we want with our son. We’ll be in each other’s lives forever, so we may as well get along and make the most of it.'

Hurt by accusations of being a gold-digger, Cameron revealed at the time she struggled to deal with the pressure of her public pregnancy. 'I was already devastated that I was pregnant,' Cameron said.  'Then being pregnant and having it so public, emotionally, I can’t deal with this. There were times when I would break down — why is this so public, why do people care? After a while, you learn to not listen, to not care.'
