If you missed it, last night saw the oft-troubled Amanda Bynes arrested in NYC for marijuana possession, evidence tampering and reckless endangerment. arrived in response to a disturbance call. The doorman in her building called police to report that Bynes was smoking pot in the lobby; when cops showed up, she had gone back upstairs. Officers entering her place witnessed heavy smoke and a bong, which Bynes then tossed onto the street ... hence the litany of criminal charges. NBC New York reports Bynes was taken to Roosevelt Hospital to undergo a psychiatric evaluation, then to a Midtown police station to be processed. It's not clear what the results of that psych evaluation were, or how they will impact her situation going forward, but her stay at the hospital was brief. She was expected to appear in court today. TMZ reports that Amanda Bynes shouted the now-famous Reese Witherspoon arrest line while being taken into custody: "Don't you know who I am?!" Yes, Amanda. We most certainly do.
