Her bikini top suddenly appeared in front of the crowd. Despite the embarrassment that she put the lid back on and kept going. Riggan advanced beyond the swimsuit round and finished as fourth runner. As Chanelle Riggan took the stage at the Miss California, she smiled at the crowd and get ready to walk the runway. But seconds after Miss Beverly Hills came into the spotlight for the swimsuit round; her graceful strut was brought to a sudden halt by an embarrassing wardrobe malfunction. The top of her pink bikini suddenly fell apart, revealing more of the spectators. In the video, obtained by TMZ, Riggan looks surprised and quickly tries to reorganize itself as the gasps from the audience. However, the slip did not last long, and within seconds was back in action with his hand grasping the loops on the back. While trying to get his composure, members of the audience shouted 'go ahead'. Without missing a beat, she continued down the runway, turned and smiled at the astonished crowd before heading off stage.
Despite the malfunction, she smiled and kept going, getting through that stage of the contest and was eventually named fourth runner-up. After the incident, she wrote on social media: “So tonight I accidentally ripped my bikini top off and flashed an entire online broadcast and audience at the Miss California USA pageant. “But on top of that I also received fourth runner up at Miss California USA 2015, my first time ever competing at a state level competition out of 120 of truly the most beautiful women in the state. “I still cannot believe I made it to the top five. “I am feeling so incredibly blessed tonight.”
